Adam Nation
Senior Consultant

Adam Nation was raised by health and engineering professionals in an environment deeply influenced by the arts. As such, his drive to help organizations and the communities they serve is rooted in creativity, as he collaborates with them to solve pressing problems that impact population health and well-being.

Adam’s experience in roles across the public, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors cultivated a deep understanding of policy advocacy, strategic communication, coalition building, and data analysis. He leverages that knowledge to help clients implement solution-focused strategies to improve the lives of those they serve. Alongside his colleagues at Sangfroid, he works with social impact organizations to help them develop data-driven strategies to reshape the social, economic, and political environments of their constituents. Through his work, he has helped position clients to scale their impact by securing public-sector funding, delivering capacity-building programming, employing strategic grantmaking, and developing internal issue alignment.

In addition to his professional experience, he holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his wife and two dogs and is an avid baseball fan, mediocre guitar player, and bad golfer.
